2010 Customer Appreciation Cruise

Are you ready to cruise in Salt Lake this summer?  We are thrilled to invite you to our Annual Customer Appreciation Party! We’ve planned a great party and have made it an all- inclusive adventure by adding a “cruise” and dinner!  On Wednesday, July 21st (check-in day) our “cruise bus” will depart for a tour of Salt Lake City sights and then cruise to the Riverton Campus for tours. After the Riverton Campus tour you’ll cruise back to historic Temple Square for a delicious dinner and our Customer Appreciation Party.  The party will be full of gifts, prizes, socializing and just plain fun so we can show you our appreciation for your support.  The cruise and party will end in time for you to disembark and join the party hosted by Stampin’ Up! at the Convention Center.

With so much happening we’ve made the cruise flexible to meet your needs.  Come for all or just some, but you won’t want to miss this ship!

Schedule:

1:00-2:15  Salt Lake City Tour Cruise (Departs from Convention Center)

2:30-4:15  Riverton Campus Tour Cruise (Departs from Convention Center)

5:00-6:15  Dinner & Customer Appreciation Party at Temple Square

6:15-6:30  Disembark the “Cruise” and take a group walking adventure to Convention Center for more fun (Stampin’ Up! party is scheduled from 6:30-8:30, or so we’ve heard!)

The Cruise tours and dinner have a small fee to help offset the costs.  We’ve been able to negotiate great group savings to pass on to you for the “cruise” tours and dinner. By organizing the tours and dinner we think you’ll save a ton getting to Riverton and save both money and time fighting crowds for dinner, plus you’ll have a great time!  As much as we would love to offer these services for free, we pride ourselves in our affordable rates. We know you understand and appreciate that value.

We are excited about the fun, prizes and more that we have in store for you! If you are a current member or customer of CraftyPerson Production, look for a personal invite in your email inbox.  


Although we are subsidizing the costs, we are asking members to help. Depending upon your participation, it can be from $0 to $20.  Because firm counts are required for the Cruise and Dinner, purchases are non-refundable.  If you are unable to attend after purchasing you may gift or sell your tickets to another demonstrator and we will happily welcome them.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Do we need a ticket?

A: Your receipt will be emailed to you immediately after you reserve.  Please print the receipt and bring it with you.  If you need us to resend it to you please let us know. Guest should be with you when you check-in at the bus or the party/dinner.

Q: What are the dinner options?

A: Pot Pie or Chicken Salad with Raspberry Vinaigrette or Vegetarian Salad.  We will also have the famous cupcakes from last year and punch as well. We will pre-order half of each of the Pie & Chicken Salad so there is no pre-ordering necessary. Vegetarian Salad is special order. For the Vegetarian meal please leave a message in the special notes section on the shopping cart form during checkout.

Q: When do we need to decide?

A: When the bus is full, we will no longer be taking reservation.

Q: Last year your shared business resources with us. Will you be doing that again?

A: Yes, we have several resources in mind but you need to attend the party or cruise to get them.  We will be playing New Product Bingo on the bus and giving you all the instruction so you can duplicate it at your Customer Open House.

Q: Is there a refund?

A: Because firm counts are required for the Cruise and Dinner, purchases are non-refundable.  If you are unable to attend after purchasing you may gift or sell your tickets to another member or guest and we will happily welcome them.   Please let us know when you have transferred the reservation to someone else.

Q: I’m attending the 1pm Evolving & Energizing Your Business presentation on Wednesday.  Can I still go?

A: Yes, we will swing by and pick you up at 2:15pm.  You will miss the tour but you can still go to Riverton home office with us.

Q: I signed-up for the dinner and now I want to also go on the tour.  What do I need to do?

A: We have each section broken down so you are free to add a dinner or bus tour afterwards.

Q: I’m a member and will not be able to attend.  Can I invite my downline?

A: Yes.  As a member you can invite up to 4 guests.  Please ask the guests to add your name in the special notes section on the shopping cart form during checkout.

Q: I receive your newsletter but I haven’t received an invitation yet?

A: At this time we are only inviting our members and customers who have purchased products from us in the past year.  You can find our memberships at http://join.craftyperson.com and http://join.classinaflash.com.  Our store is at http://store.craftyperson.com. If there is a mix-up, I apologize. Please contact our Service Desk at http://contact.craftyperson.com.   If we have room in the bus or we have a lot of requests we will open the reservations.  We don’t want to leave anyone behind.

Q: I’m not a customer or member, can I still attend?

A: We are very grateful to our customers and members who support us throughout the year.  For the last three years, we have made special arrangements to honor them. The best way to attend is to purchase one of our products.  Give us a try, I’m sure you will like what you receive.  Another option is to find a customer or member. Once we have given our valued customers and members a chance to register, we will open the registration to our subscribers if there is still room.  Join our newsletter list which is complimentary to receive notification.

Q: Will you be offering special offers like you did last year?

A: Absolutely!  Once you sign-up to join us we will be sending you more details on our exclusive offers.

Q: How do I know if I’m a member, customer or subscriber?

A: It can be confusing.  We call demonstrators who have a recurring account with us, Members. Members include demonstrators who purchased either a 6-month Class in a Flash membership, Monthly Class in a Flash membership,  SUN VIP, Premier or Basic membership.

Customers have purchased a Class in a Flash planner, Stamping Updates Newsletters or my Holiday Helper within the last 12 months.

A subscriber is someone who receives our complimentary information -packed newsletters.

As I emailed the other day, I would like to reserve one place for myself on the July 21 Bus Cruise. I would also like to attend the dinner & would like the chicken salad. Your e-mail does not link me to store payment to pay $20 for dinner. Please advise how I can do that. Thanks!

I have signed up for the entire tour, dinner etc and paid my 20.00. Will I receive a ticket via snail mail prior to arrival? I just want to make sure I have everything before I arrive.

Renee, thanks for checking in. We look forward to meeting you. You should have receives a receipt for your purchase. It’s good to print that off to be on the safe side. We will have your name as well (and a few gifts for you) at the meeting point. We will be sending you further instructions on where to meet and when as the time draws closer. We are happy to resend receipts if needed.

I am a member. I have classes all afternoon but I am wondering if I can catch up with everyone for supper (I have the afternoon recruit class).

I really loved the cruise ladies it was so informative and fun. Thankyou all for being thoughtful and providing a a lite snack as well. I was a little disapointed that there was not more prizes and a party atmosphere on the bus as advertised. I was also unaware that if I didnt attend the dinner that I would be dropped elsewhere from my hotel and be expected to walk in the heat and walk back in order to attend the party. Just feedback not a complaint and thanks again ladies for the cuise.

Love the food, Sorry could not make it to the tour of the city too many conflicts.

Loved the make n take what a hastle it was the year before to get the supplies to complete the make n take.
Loved the packet at check in.

Three thumbs up! I had the most enjoyable afternoon and evening with you. The tour of the city was relaxing and paced just right. Your game was a super idea to incorporate into one of my own events. The dinner was perfect. Yummy salad, sweet cupcakes. The women I sat with at dinner were a delight, and I got some great swaps. Honestly (and I already told you this already), if I had paid double your fee I still would have felt my money was well spent. Thanks for ALL your organization and hospitality. Now .. if I had won a prize, I would say something nice ( ;

This was my first year at convention and I became a demo in June, so the whole convention experience was awesome, but overwhelming at times. I’m trying to decipher what products/tools I need to build my Stampin’ Up business. I’m not a full time demo, so I’m looking for things to help me streamline my business, but still provide valuable content. I’m spending a lot of time on your website right now trying to get started with the newsletter. Thanks for the cruise — it was a great start to convention!
