New Wordpress Plugin-Table of Contents Creator
Posted by: | CommentsEvery Saturday I have a standing tradition of going shopping for new Wordpress Plug-ins. I love Wordpress, I think that shows. The fact that I can easily install (and uninstall) plug-ins on a whim is great. It makes my day actually.
Today’s find is Table of Contents Creator By Mark Beljaars. It’s a Site Map on steriods and I don’t have to do anything but select which categories I want to have displayed. So easy to install and I believe it will add value for the reader. Give it a try and let me know what you think. Select SITE MAP above on my menu.

If you have a blog you will want to be updating your sidebars with linkable graphics. (Don’t forget to check out my Blog Candy every month). Although this is easy to do, it is easily forgotten as well since you only have to update the sidebars every once in a while. Below are step-by-step directions for importing the graphic into WordPress, Blogger and Typepad.

RSS for Beginners and How it Can Work for You
Posted by: | CommentsRSS for Beginners and How it Can Work for You
RSS is short for Really Simple Syndication. When you think of the word ‘syndication’ you probably think about a syndicated newspaper column, meaning the column appears in a variety of newspapers around the country or the world. There’s also syndicated television. A program that goes ‘into syndication’ is picked up by a large number of television stations for rebroadcast.
What Does Post Teaser Do?
Posted by: | CommentsI have received several comments about a TWEET I posted @debbiemcneill. I was so excited that I found this plugin by author WeyHan Ng that I sent a tweet out. Let me explain a little more here about what this great WordPress plugin does for my blog site.
I’m a skimmer. When I read the newspaper, technical books, or blogs, I’m skimming looking for articles that interest me. I like to see just a summary or teaser of information in a list and then when I found something of interest, I can click on it for more information.
