Stampin’ Up! Convention Party!!!!

By Debbie McNeill

Can you believe that Convention is already fast approaching? I LOVE the excitement, inspiration and enthusiasm that just zings around during Convention, but my favorite part of Convention is getting to visit with my stamping peers and friends, both old and new. In fact it was at convention a few years ago the I met Amy Barnes and began the conversations that eventually led us to create Class in a Flash!

This year will be the third convention where I hold a Customer Appreciation Party for my Class in a Flash and my Stamping Updates Newsletter customers with goodies, prizes and tours. I’m happy to say that the party was so popular that we maxed out the capacity of the facility! This year, Amy and I, are planning to continue with the tradition and host another party to show our appreciation for your support, get a chance to meet you in person and hear your ideas and suggestions. We can hardly wait!

August 5th 6:30pm-8:00pm (first night)

We will be sending personal invitations via email to our members and subscribers. We will be allowing one guest per member/subscriber again this year. It’s going to be FUN. Stay tuned!

UPDATE!

I have a large membership base so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that the party seats sold-out within a week.  We are limited to only 150 seats because that is the requirements of the room.  So sorry everyone.  But the good news if you didn’t get seats to the party you can still participate in the tours.

I vote on the first day of convention for your event, 8/5. I missed attending last year due to transportation issues. I’m attending this year even if I have go alone and catch a cab out to our rental!

2

I agree with Jackie. The first night sounds great!.

3

I will be there later in the day on Wednesday so anytime after that will work. See you soon. E

Unfortunately I’m unable to attend convention this year (bummer!). Have a great time! It’s not even here yet and I have convention envy!

6

Linda, thanks for the post. I’m sorry you won’t be joining us this year. I’ll send you our convention goodies right after convention. Just remind me.

7

I am fine with the first night. This will be my first year of attending your event.

8

YEA BJ!!! I’m so glad we will be able to meet again. The last time it was just for a few seconds on a way to a workshop at convention.

9

Since this will be my first party, I am wondering how long the party lasts? I signed up for a swap and I want to do both!

Tiffany, yea! I’m glad you will be able to make it. I’m really started to get excited for it already.

Sharon, I sent you a direct email but I wanted to let everyone know that are party format is pretty open. We will be offering tours of SLC again and you will have several options to choose from on timing. I haven’t nailed the time down yet but I think it will be around 6:30-8pm. But…don’t hold me to it as I’m still conversing with the facilities.

Hi: This will be my first time meeting you, I’m really looking forward to it! About how close is it to the convention center?

14

Maria, it will be a pleasure to meet you. The facility is less than two blocks from the convention center. It’s a great location. More details coming.

Wed or Friday best for me.

This sounds like fun! I had no idea you organized this at convention. Hope the time works for me so I can attend.
