Meet Alison Solven

By

Alison Solven from Canada joined us as our Dynamic Demonstrator this month for the Stamping Updates Downline Newsletter (SUDL). I would like to share with you exerts of some of the great ideas she shared in the newsletter.

Alison was also kind enough to share this perfect gift idea for Mother’s Day or a special gift for anyone really. How creative is that!

Alison Solven's Mother's Day Flower Pot

We always ask our Dynamic Demonstrators to answer your burning questions about developing and growing your business. All 10 of Alison’s answers were interesting but I only have room to share one with you today.

CPP: Do you have an example of what hasn’t worked for you?

[Alison Solven]: Classes that have a “general theme” have slowed down. Customers like stamp set specific classes or Stamp A Stacks where they can make lots of cards. Technique classes fill up more easily than “Birthday or All Occasion” classes.

Thanks Alison. I’m going to change things up a bit with my workshops and give Alison’s ideas a try.

If you would like to receive this monthly newsletter in your inbox every month (including this one!) subscribe today.

Also included in the newsletter:

  • A video demonstration on how to create a watermark for your digital pictures using a product you probably already have
  • Alison’s Mother’s Day Flower Pot Tutorial
  • 3 Way to Increase Outside Orders
  • Dates to Remember
  • Punch Template
  • Punch Flyer listing all the coordinating punchs and stamp sets
  • Color Challenge
  • and a whole bunch more

I have two versions, one for demonstrators with downline and a personal-use version for those without a downline or hobbyists. Want to see a sample? Request yours today.

Thanks to all your feedback, I just released by 6-month personal-use subscription. It’s so new I haven’t had the time to add it to my website yet. You can only get it here.
