I was thrilled to have Cathy Parlitsis as our Dynamic Demonstrator this month for the Stamping Updates Downline Newsletter (SUDL). I would like to share with you exerts of some of the wonderful things she shared in the newsletter.
Cathy provided to us her adorable Restaurant Business Card Holder. This a fun project to do with your customers because not only is it cute, but practical as well.
We always ask our Dynamic Demonstrators to answer your burning questions about developing and growing your business. All 10 of Cathy’s answers were informative but I only have room to share one with you today.
CPP: What have you done to retain your customers?
[Cathy Parlitsis]: I have been a demonstrator for ten years and still have some of the same customers! I think changing things up has a great effect on maintaining their interest. They have lots of stamps so I try to focus on accessories when the new catalogs come out because that is what they need!
Also, I try to give them the very best customer service I can. Making myself indispensable to them as an “expert” in our products helps to add value to both our product and ourselves. They can’t get that in the craft stores. I tell them a story in a joking way but it IS a true story. I tell them my mom brought me a dotto refill and asked me to install it in her dispenser for her. I said “Where did you get that?” She replied: “AC Moore.” I told her she needed to go to AC Moore to have them install it for her. They laugh but it certainly makes the point!
Isn’t that a great story! If you would like to receive this monthly newsletter in your inbox every month (including this one!)
