Product Review ThursdaysProduct Name: Iomega Portable Hard Drive

Where to Buy: I buy all my tech stuff at Amazon

Price: $84.95

Product Description: The Iomega Portable Hard Drive has a 120 GB capacity. For home users and home business users, this is probably the best external hard drive you can purchase to ensure you never run out of space on your existing computer.

Product Review: I’ve had enough computer crashes to force me to back up my computer daily with a large back up every week. I have a great big portable hard drive on my desk to hold all my video demonstrations, past newsletters, contact information and pictures. It’s really not feasible when I travel. I purchased this smaller version so that I can backup all the things I need the most when I’m on the road, just in case my system crashes at the most critical time.

One of the problems most computer users face is not having enough drive space also. Although you may purchase a computer with the highest hard drive capacity available, inevitably after a few months a new computer with an even higher capacity will emerge. Who wants to learn a new computer.

One of the benefits of utilizing an external hard drive is that it is not only cost-effective but a time saver as well. Not having to spend hours transferring stored information from an old computer to a new one is a plus for anyone who stores large amounts of data on their computer.
