What’s in store for 2010
By Debbie McNeill
Wow, 2009 is ending as I write this and we are about to begin a new year. Hubby and I were planning a night out for New Year’s Eve, but decided instead to stay in for a cozy night. So I’m cozy on the couch with a hot mug of tea, my planner, and pen. (and laptop is very near too!)
I like to spend New Year’s Eve, recording new ideas to move into the year ahead for both my personal and business growth. I totally stay away from resolutions and opt for more of a game-plan for the year. I even pick a theme to help me stay on track. This year’s theme is “Get Organized”. I believe you need to set a plan in place so you have concrete steps to follow for success as resolutions are simply empty wishes. I’ve posted articles on goal setting over the years if you are interested.
2010 is going to be a great year for SUN Newsletters. I have targeted three new “rock-your-socks-off” features to the membership. The first one is adding pictures to the event section on the monthly newsletter. The second is personalized themes. Members love the new design of the newsletters but would like to use their own blog graphics style and investment. I have some great design strategies that will make adding their style easy and fun. Can’t wait for that one, actually I have started the development already.
Lastly, I’m going to be streamlining the processes and product offerings for both the members and myself. I’m sure this will make requesting and publishing the
newsletters faster and more convenient. All these great new feature with the same affordable pricing.
I’m heading off to Leadership on Tuesday to meet with Amy Barnes, co-founder of Class in a Flash. This is our yearly planning session and I so enjoy getting together with her. Amy is so very talented in so many ways. More details later this month on what we have in store for you!
I never want to lose the focus of why CraftyPerson Production was born. To help Stampin’ Up! demonstrators with their technology and marketing needs. I know how difficult it can be to run your own home based, direct sales business, maintain a balanced life and learn all this marketing and computer stuff at the same time. I’ve been a computer developer and marketing major most of my life, but knowing what you should do won’t do it. You need systems and support in place so you can focus your attention on moving your business where you want it to be.
I’ll keep offering class planners, newsletters and tips and articles on getting the most of your time in 2010. Leave me a comment below and tell me what I can do to help you. I’m dedicated to helping you to move your Stampin’ Up! business forward and making 2010 your best year ever!
To your success!
