Annual Events: Customer Appreciation Party & Holiday Helper

By

I’m back from convention.  Convention and the third-annual Customer Appreciation Party was fabulous.  It was so nice to meet all of you who took the time to come to the party.  Those cupcakes were fantastic.   I live with very few request but I regret not getting any pictures from the party.  I had the camera in my hand even!!!!!!  I was just so caught up with talking with everyone that I totally spaced it.

Here’s a tip: if you are on our Class in a Flash list, you will be receiving class planning instructions for the Make & Takes from the convention.  If you are not on the list, take a moment now to grab your complimentary copy.

I was asked several times at the party if I will be doing another Holiday Helper.  I hope to have it out by early October.  This is another standing tradition I have done for the last three years so I can’t imagine not doing it every year.  Hold on, it is coming.

If you attended the Customer Appreciation Party I would love to hear ideas on how we can make it a better experience for you next year.  Leave me a comment below.

    Debbie,
The party was great. Thank you for inviting me. My suggestion would be a larger area for the make and take (or eliminate it). My other suggestion is to have the same cupcakes again. They were awesome. Martha

Katie, thanks for the suggestion. I was hoping to have a chance to meet everyone on a more personal level. :-( Next year we will certainly make changes to the format. Thanks again for letting us know and I’m so bummed I missed the opportunity to talk with you.

I was at your meeting at convention and thank you for holding it . We got there around 7pm, which was late. By the time we hit your make and take, it was basically gone. It did look cute, taught me a lesson to get there on time next year. :)
My suggestion for next year is to pick a time during this event, say 6:45, to ask for people’s attention and to introduce yourselves. I saw that you were very busy with so many people and did not want to interrupt.
